Wireless network test results report says "No problems found. Congratulations on the successful setup of your wireless printer" Wireless on, working, signal quality excellent, SSID found, last line of current configuration says internet Not Connected.
How can I get printer connected to internet so I can print wirelessly?
This is a home network with Att modem, att broadband service, an older wireless officejet 8620, a mac Yosemite laptop, a windows xp laptop, iphones all are on network with internet connectivity.
The modem IP address lists new printer s MAC address, IP address correctly in device list,
Have unpowered modem, and printers and restarted.
the mac seemed to let me add OfficeJet Pro 8720 but when I try to print to new printer nothing happens.
The windows Xp does not see the printer to add it. Was able to print one page from Iphone 7 once but can't repeat it no airpring printers found
What am I missing? Can you only have one Officejet intstalled on a network?
Thanks very much for considering this,
Brendan

Welcome to the HP Forums 🙂
I would like to take a moment and thank you for using this forum, it is a great place to find answers.
As I understand the printer doesn't seem to work on a wifi network,
No worries as I'd love to help, however, I need a few more details to provide an accurate solution:
Have you been able to print offline using a wired network?
Did you update to the latest drivers and firmware available for your printer?
In the meantime, try the below steps:
Step 1: Restart the computer, printer, and router
Restart the computer, printer, and router to resolve any error states present during the printer setup.
Step 2: Check the network and printer connection status
Make sure your network is working correctly and that the printer is ready for the network setup.
Step 3: Manually connect the printer to your network (wireless connections only)
Try connecting the printer to your network manually so that the HP installer can find the printer. Use the Wireless Setup Wizard if you have a touch or text-based control panel, or try Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS). After connecting, try installing the HP driver and software again.
