My hp4520 printer applys to much ink when printing photos on 4x6 hp photo paper the pictures are wet and smeary

when they come out, i had printed a few pictures previously and did a very good job, maybe I changed the settings

by mistake

Hi,

 

Even in best mode (most ink is laid down in this mode), your photos shoud not be wet and smeary. Check that the photo paper is dry and that when inserted it's shiney side down. Check your print settinsg and select draft mode to use the least amount of ink.
