why won't it take my postal code i cannot register?

I will need a little more information in order to help out. Are you trying to register for eFax on the front panel of the printer? That would be were a postal code is required. Or are you wanting to use ePrint? That would require getting a code from the printer and entering that code on the website at eprintcenter.com.  What is the model of printer that you have? Different printers have different ways to fix their problems.

I'm trying to register my printer and I live in Canada. Seems it will only accept zip codes! Whats up?

Make sure the country is set to Canada in the preferences of the printer, and it should accept a postal code even if it says zip code.

This setting should be in ther setup menu of the printer, and then preferences, then you can select the country and language.

Doesn't work for my printer. it's set to english and Canada. the software on my PC still doesn't let me use my canadian postal code.

I am having the same issue when I'm trying to set up web services to order ink and finish installing my computer. It's Step 2 of the easy start set up.

I can't even type in the "Postal Code" box, had to cut and paste. It is actually looking for a zip code so type in a 5 digit number.

I have the same problem today. I want to register for HP Instant Ink, but my Canadian Postal Code is not accepted!!
