- why won't it take my postal code i cannot register?

I will need a little more information in order to help out. Are you trying to register for eFax on the front panel of the printer? That would be were a postal code is required. Or are you wanting to use ePrint? That would require getting a code from the printer and entering that code on the website at eprintcenter.com. What is the model of printer that you have? Different printers have different ways to fix their problems.

Make sure the country is set to Canada in the preferences of the printer, and it should accept a postal code even if it says zip code.
This setting should be in ther setup menu of the printer, and then preferences, then you can select the country and language.

It worked!

And here I could register 🙂
