Please offer native audio drivers for HP 620 Windows 8 64 bit.

Problems:

- There is no working audio driver for HP 620 win 8 64 bit (Celeron Intel)

- Both audio and video playback is on slow motion (speed is like 1 sec is 3 secs).

I want to use 64 bit version so please do not suggest to do any downgrades.

I second that. Laptop works great, but the audio/video playback is in slow-motion...

Found the fix. Downloaded the drivers from the Intel website. They do support products in Windows 8 x64. Instead of HP that sdtates that if your laptop is 2.5 years old, it shouldn't be supported anymore...

Installed. Doesn't make any difference with my HP 620 with Finnish language Win8 64 bit.

😞

No sound. Slowmotion videos.

HP Recommended

The video slow motion is caused by sound driver. If sound card is disabled from bios, videos are running quite normally..

IT must be a syncing problem, because also audio files are run extremely slow.

Any news concerning sound driver?

Same issue here. Just installed Win8 64bit after memory upgrade.
The onboard sound doesn't working (speaker and headphones).

But, if I'm using my bluetooth headset, it's working. Not the best solution, but it's working...

I've tried all of the instructions on the page you given me.

I've figured out some additional information may could help (but I'm sure, it's a driver issue - I've tried of course the Win7 64 bit drivers too):

In the volume manager and in the audio play devices window the little progressbar that normally show a green progress when something is playing with some volume: It's working, but I can hear anything. Also: the animation is slower than usual.

Additionally: tried the recording devices window too: can't see any sign of working device here at the green progressbar. The devices are present, tried both the inner microphone, and tried a desktop microphone too plugged in to the microphone jack.

And for the record: tried the troubleshooting tasklist you provided, no driver updates on the HP Support site, no driver updates on Windows Update.

Thanks again for your help 🙂
