I did order the Recovery disk CD's which included 3 System Recovery DVD's and 1 Application and Driver Recovery DVD.
As per the instructions, I'm suppose to enter in disk 1 into my optical drive and shutdown my computer. Then it states: The recovery works only when the computer is started with the first recover disc in the optical drive. The recover is not intended to run from within Windows.
But when I follow these instructions, it takes my to my windowns login password/fingerprint scan. The Recovery never starts and I've tried this 4 times. NO LUCK. Could you assist me?

Hi,
Try the following method.
Shut down the notebook. Tap away at the esc key as soon as you power on to launch the Start-up Menu. Insert the 1st Recovery Disc. Select Boot Options ( usually f9 ). Use the arrow keys to highlight the CD/DVD drive and hit enter - if you see a prompt to 'Press any key to continue...' then do so.

Hello seinbaraqbah,
I see that you are having trouble with the beats audio on you HP computer. I would like to help with this issue but I need some information.
Can you provide the model and product number of the computer? Here is a link that shows how to find that information.

I have a bit strange problem. When i start any game with headphones pluged in the voice comes out from speakers in laptop. To fix it I have to reboot the system. I think it's driver's problem. Any ideas to solve the problem?
I use Pavilion dv7-6189sl with Win 7 (64 bit)

Hi Pufa,
Try the following.
Download the IDT Audio installer on the link below and save it to your Downloads folder.
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp55001-55500/sp55094.exe
When done, open windows Control Panel, open Device Manager and open up Sound, Video and Game Controllers. Right click the IDT device and select Uninstall - you should also get a prompt to remove the current driver, tick the box to allow this and then proceed with the uninstall.
When complete, do not restart yet. Instead, download and reinstall the Chipset driver on the link below.
When this has completed, shut down the notebook, unplug the AC Adapter and then remove the battery. Hold down the Power button for 30 seconds. Re-insert the battery and plug in the AC Adapter.
Tap away at the esc key as you start the notebook to launch the Start-up Menu and then select f10 to enter the bios menu. Press f5 to load the defaults ( this is sometimes f9, but the menu at the bottom will show the correct key ), use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and hit enter. Press f10 to save the setting and again use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and hit enter.
Let Windows fully load - it will automatically load an audio driver, but just let this complete. Then open your Downloads folder, right click on the IDT installer and select 'Run as Administrator' to start the installation. When this has completed, right click the speaker icon in the Taskbar and select Playback Devices. Left click 'Speakers and Headphones' once to highlight it and then click the Set Default button - check if this has corrected the audio issue.

Hello everyone,
I've just bought the HP Envy 6-1130sw PN: C6F62EA. I have a problem with Beats Audio speakers, front speakers are working fine but the subwoofer is not. I have all the IDT software installed and beats audio control panel explored. Is it possible to turn the subwoofer on somehow? Now it's not working at all..
Please help

For all of you out there trying to figure out what happened to the Beats audio interface. With windows 7, hp pavilion p7-1297c, 64bit. http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?cc=us&lc=en&dlc=en&softwareitem=cp-102234-1 I suspect HP support makes it so difficult so as to get you to purchase thier support.
