I have a problem with Rekordbox (and Serato). These are DJ software.

When Rekordbox is the main application, everything works.

But as soon as I minimize the Rekordbox, the audio starts jittering. But when i go back to Rekordbox, everything works ok again.

I tried all the USB ports. I can tell that when I'm using the USB-C port located on the left (40GBPS) it recovers much faster than when using the USB-A

I've been checking with Rekordbox, but we haven't found a solution, plus, Rekordbox has been working without problems with my other older 2 laptops.

So, the thing is that I'm using a controller (XDJ-RX3 or XDJ-AZ)

And when using these controllers as ASIO, this problem happens. But if I'm using them as LINK on EXPORT mode, then they work (as limited they can work in that mode).

So, there is something, that when the app is not used as a main application, is somehow cutting maybe power or something.

In the device manager USB ports are set to not cut power

I'm using the BOOSTER app of HP to avoid throttling

I used also PROCESS LASSO giving to the software maximum priorities in all senses.

I disabled midi 2.0

I cut HP processes

But there is still something at OS level managed by HP, that is cutting resources to Rekordbox when it is not the main application and is using ASIO.

On the other hand, there is another well known software called VIRTUALDJ, that works flawlessly and does not present any of these issues. I also know that it is coded in a different way and perhaps is relying on itself and less on windows common processes.

The thing is that Rekordbox (and Serato) and these dj controllers are working in my previous laptop and in the other existing laptops in the world, so must be some HP resource somewhere cutting something when Rekordbox is not the main app in order to save energy, but I'm already using PERFORMANCE and UNLEASHED modes...

I really need help, I spent a lot of money on this laptop, for dijing XD

Thanks for your time to read this.

Hello Steffen,

Sorry, I thought my device was already appearing there.

My laptop is the OMEN Transcend 14 inch Gaming Laptop PC 14-fb1000 (A88Y1AV)

I will mention that I upgraded the SSD to a 4tb:

SAMSUNG 9100 PRO 4TB Capacity, PCIe 5.0 NVMe M.2 Internal SSD, V-NAND TLC Type, Up to 14,800 MB/s Sequential Read & Up to 13,400 MB/s Sequential Write, TRIM & SMART Support | MZ-VAP4T0BW

I know that the laptop is a GEN4, but at the moment of getting the new SSD only this Gen5 was available in my area.
