Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Unable to open the screen now only 1-2 in and screen is splitting away from the back horizontally. Squaretrade who I took out a 3 year repair contract that I paid is telling me it was dropped or damaged. All I did was open the screen to use the computer and the hinge jammed up!!! Any one else had this problem ? Or no a phone # that I can call and talk with No about this ? Computer was bought from QVC JAN 24 2017 THANK YOU

Someone did call me but I didn't have the computer back to give them the serial/model # I know it is out of warrenty manufactures but I thought square trade would repair it do to it being a defective hinge problem but all they say is that it was damaged YES IT IS DAMAGED NOW All I did was try to open the screen!!!! Does HP give you a repair estimate if you send it into them for repair ? Is there a fee for that as well ?
