Hello everyone! I recently found an old laptop i used to use very frequently, im attempting to find the BIOS administrator password for my hp probook 455 g9. Ive contacted the support number they passed me around to 5 people all without assistance. They claim they do not have a password for it. And the issue is something requiring me to buy a 700$ motherboard while i still have this device insured it would still be out of my pocket! I think its ridiculous they cannot just give me the password but here we are. Any assistance would be appreciated, i would really love to use this laptop again.

According to the Community's Rules of Participation:

Therefore, this topic is being locked. If you would like help resetting the password on your product, please Contact HP support in your region.

 

For cases related to BitLocker issues, please contact Microsoft Support.
