Thank you for your reply, I tried like a mad person to log on and for the life of me couldn't even access the login screen anymore !

Anyways, many if not all Omen 15's are sold with a 128gb PCIe card and a larger, regular SATA HDD drive. I needed to access that BIOS Advanced page to make the right modifications in order to be able to install Windows OS on it (for much faster boot/loading time) rather than on the much slower SATA HDD.

I returned the computer.

On all consumer Notebook including Omne gaming systems, the BIOS does not have advance tab.  Not sure when the advance tab was removed. Looking at 2014 notebook model BIOS, it does not have advance tab.

@whatever91 Based on what you posted, you want to install the OS (assumed Windows 10) on SSD instead of Sata HDD on your Omen gaming system. Steps are as follow:

  1. Enable Legacy Boot
    • Press F10 during boot to enter BIOS
    • Go to System Configuration---->Boot Options---->Enable Legacy Support----> ensure USB Disketter on key/USB Disk is at the top of the order under UEFI Boot order and Legacy Boot order
    • Save then Exit
  2. Install OS on SSD
    • Insert USB media OS (Windows 10 version)
    • The system should recognized the USB media
    • If not, Press F9 to boot into USB media with OS
    • For there, follow Windows 10 Installation process to install into SSD or HDD.
    • During the installation process, it will see the SSD and HDD. Just need to select which one to install OS.

The above installation process is the same for any consumer notebook...gaming or not.

Hi

I have a question about the installation of windows because it is not so easy as you wrote it, when i try to install it says

"Windows cannot be installed to this disk. Thus computer's hardware may not support booting to this disk. Ensure that the disk's controller is enabled in the computer's BIOS menu"

Please help i can't use my new laptop

You could try clicking the ESC key during start up, for the start-up menu, and then choosing BIOS Setup. You could also press F1, F2, F10, and F11 along with the Ctrl key.
