Hi,

I have a HP ENVY 15-k012tx, few weeks back the capslock button starts to flashes when I boot the computer. After a few try's it will start but even when I restart the computer the capslock button starts to flash.

I checked the the your support site and it says might be a problem with the Bios.

Can u let me know where I can download the bios file to reinstall it.

If not the Bios what can it be, and how I can get it fixed

Thanks for becoming a member of the HP Support Forums. I understand you are having an issue with flashing caps lock light when starting. I will be glad to help you.

 

What is the pattern of the flashing light?  Please see Computer Does Not Start and Emits an LED or Beep Code.

 

If it flashing pattern is two blink then pause then repeats, you can find the latest BIOS Driver at support.hp.com.  Then are not Bios update for Windows 10 so select Windows 8.1.

 

if not please follow the steps from Computer Does Not Start (Windows 10).

 

Please keep me informed of how things went.
