HP Chromebook 11A-NB0013DX

Good Evening

 

This is my first chromebook and I am not sure what the issue could be. I have tried to research any sort of diagnostics guide and I cannot find any.

 

The problem: my new HP Chromebook 11A-NB0013DX will charge but it will not turn on. And sometimes when I press the power button it makes a 2 second long beep. If there is anything to determine what the issue is so I can determine if this is an issue I can fix at home or something that indicates that I need to return it to Amazon, I'd appreciate it.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, I have a few troubleshooting steps we could try to fix the issue:  

  • Step 1: Perform a visual inspection
  • Step 2: Verify power to the computer
  • Step 3: Verify battery charging status
  • Step 4: Perform a hard reset

If a hard reset does not resolve the issue, contact HP support to replace the damaged part or computer. To check the warranty of your laptop, go to HP Customer Support - Product Warranty Check.
