My Tablet will not start up or come out of hibernation.
I have tried removing all peripheral devices (none attached to begin with) and press and hold the power button down for 15 seconds. Connect the AC power adapter (the original one, I don't have any other power adapter other than the original one).
I then press the power button again and I see the yellow flashing light next to the power connector for 9 times and then nothing.
I have tried calling my local HP Support number here in Australia, only to be disconnected each and every time!!! GGERRR!!
Then I call US Support international and I finally get through to someone I can speak to, they tell me to hang on while they put me through to the tablet team, Someone from the tablet team eventually answers and says "Hello, I can't hear you" and hangs up!@!! F&@* so I call again and explain to a different operator, she tells me she will stay on the line with me until I am connected to someone. I wait for about 5 minutes and she hangs up!!!! F#*$&# H#(%$
So getting back to my original problem, how can I hard reset this tablet! Its brand new only had it for 2 months now and it's playing up - need urgent help!
If support is reading this please refer to vvvvvvv and call me back ASAP - you have my number! Please make up for your atrocious support, can't even get me to talk to the team supporting tablets OMG!

Hi DeniBoy84,
I can recall that we tried a few things with HP Support - I think holding down the power for 30 seconds, but I think that didn't work. They were going to arrange to send me another power supply.
What I tried, in the end, was to simply leave the USB-C connected with the power on charging it. It came back to life after about 5 or 6 hours (maybe even longer)!
Ever since we haven't had any problem - BUT! We use to keep it on our kitchen bench, it is a bench made of granite and can during the nights get very cold.
I read somewhere that a cold battery is not a very good situation, especially while it is very low on battery - the cold battery with low charge can get damaged.
So if your environment is similar, for instance, you use it all day, the charge is low and you rest it on a cold bench to charge is not ideal.
So first off try simply connecting the usb-c tye power connector and leave it charging overnight, even for a whole 24 hours or so. Once it comes back to life, you want to make sure the charge doesn't drop below 20% to be safe and store it when not used in a warmer area.

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).
If you are unfamiliar with how the Forum's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.
Thank you for visiting the HP Support Forum.
