this is not enough for me to know when it is blocking
Did you or did not succeed in starting the installation system, or not at all ..
The installation is done, but then you get this error message?
You may need to disable boot security, and run the install in legacy mode

I have already enabled Legacy and disabled Secure Boot, but it is still not working. I've been seeing another message.
An operating system wasn't found. Try disconnecting any drives that don't contain an operating system. Press any key to restart.
After pressing any key to restart, it just gets stuck in an infinite loop and repeats the same message.

Not yet, I'll have to try that on the weekend. Do I need to swap back in my original hard drive to do this?
The first time I didn't do a recovery when i started this thread and was able to boot the original hard drive with a USB Windows 10 before it died again. Now it is just stuck in boot loops. I don't even get the Preparing Automatic Repair screen anymore. I can only go to BIOS from pressing F10.
I've been trying out a checklist of what to look for below.

Hello
sorry, i didn't get a notification for the penultimate reply
Okay, good news!
but take backups regularly, the hard drive may still fail permanently
