HP 11 x360
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Updated the bios to correct the brightness options reversed as per the following HP Support thread.

With BIOS file SP86809.exe and it completed successfully except the laptop now turns on with blank screen and does not continue through the boot cycle.

I have attempted the BIOS recovery creation using a 2nd PC but the usb stick does not appear to be accessed on the failing laptop.

Any ideas?

Hi

Not really.

Step 1 Turn off the computer, press and hold the PWR button for 4 seconds.

Step 2 Leave only keyboard and mouse connected, disconnect all externally connected
devices such as Docking Station, USB storage devices, displays, and printers.
Unplug the AC adapter from the computer.

Step 3 Press and Hold the Power button for 15 seconds to Hard Reset.

Step 4 Power on your PC, press Esc (repeatedly), then F2 at the prompt.
Choose System Tests (Fast Test does a 4 minute hardware check).

Step 5 Windows Logo key + Ctrl + Shift + B

Step 6 If you’re using multiple displays, try projecting video to a different monitor.
Press the Windows Logo key + P, select a display, and then press Enter.
