Sir,

Hard Disk of my laptop is being corrupted, therefore bought a new Hard Disk and another RAM of 4GB installed installed.

But when I have powered on my laptop there would be no display.

Caps Lock LED get blinks for 3 times.

On strating Hard disk LED and Power LED gets on for few seconds then Hard disk LED gets off.

Also cooling fan is not working at all and I am getting only black screen with no output.

One thing I want to know that  : "If a new Hard Disk is installed then is there a need to install BIOS also ?"

any ideas regarding this kindly suggest....

Hi,

The three blinks usually indicates a RAM problem. Did you purchase DDR3L-1600Mhz RAM (not DDR3 RAM)?

You do not need to install BIOS. You will need to install the OS such as Windows 10 on the drive once the PC works. If you remove the new stick of RAM the PC should work.

Let me know,

David
