Hi to all,

I  installed  HP Support Assistant on my HP and I had the bad idea of making the latest updates (including bios).

After restart and bios update followed "black screen".

Tried with "windows"+B+power button for 3 seconds + recovery stick on usb but without succes.

Original bios version : B.01 and vendor : Insyde.

You have some solutions for my problem?

Thanks for all!

@Zombi_2019,

Thank you for posting your query on HP Support Community,

This looks like a possible hardware failure. I would recommend you contact our HP support team for further assistance.

HP support team can be reached on www.hp.com/contacthp

Select the product type.

Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.

Select the country from the drop-down.

You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!

If you wish to show appreciation for my efforts, mark my post as Accept as Solution. Your feedback counts!

Cheers!

Thanks for your support but I've already done that without any succes.

The problem is: back cover is broken and I don't have the serial number.

But I have a picture with first page of original bios (when laptop working).It is ok to post it here?

I post the picture with mainboard.

So, I wanted the *.bin file for 25q128 flash memory.

Thanks for all,

@Zombi_2019,

The information which are you looking can be accessed only by an Authorized service tech.

The best option possible would be to send in the unit for repair and in the service center, and I'm sure they should be able to go ahead and address your issue.

I hope this information helps. Let me know if you need any further assistance!

Take care now and do have a fabulous week ahead. 🙂

Hi,

In the original bios the "system board id" is: 8484 but on recovery stick created by bios update the of bin is: 08483.bin

I don't know if this is the problem.

Now I try to find the 08484.bin.

Thanks.

@Zombi_2019,

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

If you are unfamiliar with how the Community's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.

Thank you for visiting the HP Support Community.
