HP Stream Notebook
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (32-bit)
Help, please! I have had my notebook since Christmas and hadn't had any issues until today. I watched Netflix last night and closed the top, as I usually do, before bed, and when I woke up it wouldn't turn on. I tried to leave it plugged in to the charger and trying a couple of hours later, but no luck. There hasn't been any damage, so I'm not sure what the problem is. Any help is much appreciated!!

I am in the same situation as you.
8 months ago we purchased 15 HP Stream Notebook - 11-d015ns, they are working properly but all of a sudden they stops and there is no way to turn on or restart.

All the leds in the keyboard as well the charger led don't flash or give any sign.
This issue has happened at least 6 times in different computers, and the solution is yet to be known. We tried te combination key, the power button during 30 or 10 seconds but nothing of this seems repair the laptop.

All we do is leave the laptop plugged in the " wall charger" and wait until we can see the charger light goes on again.

I would like to know what is the reason for such a bizzar problem, and what must we do.
Thanks in advance for your support:smileyhappy:

The manual said to remove the battery, which I don't think is possible without taking the entire computer apart. Am I missing something? Have tried several avenues?? Thanks again for your help!
