Hi, i have this notebook and want to deactivate the secure boot. If I go to the bios and select "bios setup", I'm asked for the "bios administrator password". I do not know the password. How can I reset it or is there any default password?

After I type in three times the wrong password, I have to reboot, but no error code is dispayed.

Best wishes, Eric

PS: HP-Support says: "HP is committed to the security and privacy of its customers. HP does not provide a BIOS password reset service to our customers. Allowing access into the BIOS provides the potential opportunity for an unauthorized user to remove current security settings and change other device settings that could make the PC’s data vulnerable. For these reasons, in providing the best-in-class security for HP products, we are not able to reset the BIOS password for any reason. To resolve a forgotten BIOS password issue, a system-board replacement would be required, and additional customer costs would apply.
