OMEN by HP 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop PC 16-xf0000 (7L9B40AV)

Previously, I could enter the BIOS on this laptop by pressing F10 or Esc immediately after turning on the computer. I updated the BIOS to version F.30, downloading it from the official HP website, and now I can't enter the BIOS.

Pressing F10 or Esc when turning on the laptop only turns on the screen backlight, but the screen itself remains black, and the laptop remains black for a long time, displaying nothing. If I don't press anything when turning on the laptop, Windows boots normally.
Initially, I updated the BIOS directly from Windows, but after discovering the problem, I tried updating the BIOS again using a USB recovery drive. The situation remained unchanged.
I tried resetting the BIOS by pressing Caps Lock + F5 + F11 + Power - this also didn't work.
How can I now enter the BIOS?

By the way, the CPU-Z displays a new BIOS version.

If you remove all devices from the USB and Type-C ports, it works. For now, I've found this temporary solution.

@Andriss,

See if you can enter BIOS from command prompt.

Open command prompt as administrator.

At the prompt type shutdown /r /fw and hit the Enter key. Be sure to have space between /r and /fw.

If you see 'You are about to be signed off,' click on Close and let the restart process complete.

BIOS setup will appear. If you see startup option menu instead, hit F10 for BIOS.

When I try to do this, the same thing happens as when I press F10 after turning on the laptop: an endless black screen with the backlight on.

I have the same problem. I can't downgrade. Were you able to do it?

HP Recommended

I didn't try this because I knew it was pointless, as the version F.30 description states that downgrading to previous versions is impossible.

If you find a solution, please let me know here.

Have you tried reinstalling it with a USB?

HP Recommended

Yes, the reinstallation was successful, but nothing changed.

This seems similar to the issue i'm currently facing. Can you open the UEFI Diagnostics by pressing F2?

HP Recommended

No. When I try to do this, I see the same thing: a black screen and the backlight is on.
