I have had the  problem for nearly 2 years now, the laptop turns on every night by itself. I have disabled every bootup, mouse, keyboard and any and every disabler known to man. I have killed windows updates, scheduled tasks and watched every youtube video known to man for 2 years. After all the laptops that I have owned since 1987 this HP pavilion is the WORST PERIOD.  I have contacted the hp help desk without any success, they are a joke! I have my laptop set to hibernate and I have a bios password. Over the pass 2 days I have disabled the bios password and right now the laptop has not reboted as of yet! I have already updated the bios late last year and that did not help. I just don't have a clue what the heck it could be.  I have run last wakeup, first wakeup, and every wakeup you can think of. This is the worst laptop period, I thought I was upgrading over Dell but i have definitely downgraded. HP help desk step up to the plate and help me fix this issue, you built the computer help me fix it!

They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number.

Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact.

 

Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

Great lets make it happen. Laptop is still turning on by itself even after i disabled the bootup password. This has been beyond frustruating. Let's get it fixed HP. I bought your product you can at least help me resolve this bootup battery draining process you installed on this laptop.
