Hi:

 

I do not believe the 15-bw024na has a M.2 slot for a SATA SSD.

 

Generally, on AMD notebooks with the AMD 'A' series processors, unless a M.2 SATA SSD was installed at the factory, the M.2 slot is not present.

 

Additional parts are used for a M.2 slot.

 

Chapter 3 of the service manual indicates that the part number for the motherboard that comes in the notebook is 924719-601.

 

HP 15 Laptop PC (AMD)* Model numbers: 15-bw0xxHP 15g Laptop PC* Model numbers: 15g-bx0xxHP 15q Lapto...

 

Here is an eBay listing for the motherboard with that part number:

Notice the missing M.2 SSD slot on the furthest lower left corner of the picture.

 

The other M.2 slot at the upper right side of the picture is where the Wi-Fi card is installed.
