So, my OMEN laptop seems to have gained an issue where it will suddenly rapidly turn itself off and on as if it was entering a constant sleep mode, at first, I thought it could be an overheating issue with the Nividia GPU, but after stress testing it with different software, it was hotter and under more usage and yet this same problem did not occur at all. This issue only occurs whenever I am currently playing games.

The issue of your laptop rapidly turning off and on during gaming could be related to power delivery, thermal protection, or driver/firmware conflicts. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you troubleshoot and resolve the issue:
Update BIOS and Drivers
Outdated firmware or drivers can cause instability under load.
- Visit the Official HP® Support.
- Download and install the latest:
- BIOS update
- Chipset drivers
- NVIDIA and Intel graphics drivers
- HP System Event Utility
Run HP Diagnostics
Check for hardware issues using HP’s built-in tools.
- Use the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics tool:
- Press Esc repeatedly at startup, then F2 to enter diagnostics.
- Run System Tests and Component Tests (especially for memory and GPU).

Check Power Settings
Improper power settings can cause instability under load.
- Go to Control Panel > Power Options.

Hello, I've tried just about all of these solutions and none of them have worked, unfortunately after doing digging around I seemed to have found that this laptop model seems to be faulty, and this issue comes from the sensor that detects if the laptop is closed or not.
