Hi,
I have a HP Pavillion 15-cc546na. It was working fine last night, but when I put it down for the evening there was some pretty intense fan spinning, and it was shut down when I turned it on this morning. Eventually it booted up as normal, but very slowly. I've gone to switch it on recently and there is an orange light by the charging port. It is on for a few seconds, then blinks off.
I've taken out the battery and tried powering it on without the battery. The light now turns white and flashes in the same fashion. I've also tried a different known working charger, and swapped the RAM to a different slot, and also taken the RAM out completely to see if I'd get a beep code. I've also tried a hard reset - I took the battery out, connected the power adapter and held the power button for 15 seconds. No luck.
Is the laptop done for? Or can a part be replaced to solve the issue?

@Sean- If the device is no longer booting though it's powering on, and you've reseated the ram, changed slots, and done everything you've mentioned, this seems like a hardware malfunction and I suggest you talk to HP support and discuss your options, follow the below steps to get started:
1) Click on this link - http://www.hp.com/contacthp/
2) Click on Sign-in or select the product using the below step:
3) Enter the serial of your device.
4) Select the country from the drop-down.
5) Click on "Show Options".
Fill the web-form, to populate a case number and phone number for yourself!
Also, if you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty, if yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from,
here's how private messages work: Click here for details.
P.S: Welcome to HP Community 😉
If you wish to thank me for my efforts, you could click on "Accept as solution" on my post as the solution should help others too.
