15s-fq2024nq HP

Hello,

I have this model: hp 15s-fq2024nq and i just can't install the win 10. It can't find a partition and i have a feeling that it has to do with the ssd driver (i guess it is missing).

I also couldn't find any drivers for this specific model on hp's "drivers and softwares" section.

I tried with 4 different working bootable usb (I can install the windows on my other laptop)

Thank you in advance!

Hi:

There is a special process needed to install W10 on notebooks with the new Intel 11th gen core processors...

See the info at the link below.

https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-15-f2000-laptop-pc-series/35900344/model/35900346/document/c...

The link they direct you to the support site doesn't work.

Here is the link to the driver you need...

This package contains the Intel Rapid Storage Technology Driver for the supported notebook models and operating systems. The Intel Rapid Storage Technology is designed to provide functionality for the Intel Storage Controllers. The driver improves Serial ATA (SATA) disk performance with Native Command Queuing.

Thank you for the driver, it worked.

Now i'm facing the wifi driver problem. I can't find the drivers, meaybe you can help me with this one too.

Thank you

You're very welcome.

If the wifi adapter needs a driver, there will be a device listed in the device manager labeled as a Network Controller.

In Romanian, the device may be labeled as a Controlor de rețea.

Please post the hardware ID for the Network Controller device, and I will post the link to the driver you need for it.

In Device Manager -> Network Adapters i have 8 WAN Miniport option and it seems that the wifi adapter si missing

HP Recommended

Yes, but there is probably some device listed with a little warning ! mark next to it.

Please post the hardware ID's for any devices you see with those warning marks.

The wifi adapter is not going to show up under the Network Adapters device manager category until the driver is installed.
