Hi,

Tap away F2 or ESC key as soon as you power on laptop, perform extensive hard drive and memory tests. Wait for it to finish

Have you created HP Recovery USB using HP Recovery Manager after first setup of this notebook?

I did exactly that (extensive hard drive and memory tests). I waited for it to finish and everything "PASSED". I pressed the Exit button & it went back to the previous stage(it just shows the HP logo & doesn't go beyond that.) please advise on the next stage I can take. Thank you
