Omen 15t-dc000
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

So I purchased the Omen 15 as a Christmas gift for my son in 2018 but I have been using it to work from home. This was the first time I removed it from the ac adapter and I happened to let the battery died.  I then went to charge it and I tried to power on and nothing. Nothing was wrong with the laptop. It work just fine right before. I'm using the original power cord and all. I did noticed that a orange light blinks once when I plugged it in. If I press the power button the white light blinks once too but that is all. Of course my warranty has expired. Quite sad after I paid $1600 for it. I removed the battery. I did the windows and B button. I reset CMOS. I did the power button and tapping F2. Nothing works.  Please let me know what could be the problem.  I was told to get it fix would be $400 plus tax by HP phone tech but didn't let me know what would be fix on it. Help please.

Nobody has reach out but  I found that the ac adapter was the problem.  I spoke with another  HP tech who scared me saying he believe it was a main broad problem which would have cost me $700. So I decided I had nothing to lose but time and after more troubleshooting with the plug and removing the battery, looking up the adapter lights. I found that my ac adapter was the problem and my dear laptop is on and running fine again.  I say who ever have a problem like this think about investing in a new power adapter before anything else.  The adapter cost $140 which is a lot manageable than $700 or $400 battery.  Good luck people!
