Hello,
My Pavilion laptop won't go to sleep while charging. No matter if I close the lid or press the power button (for sleep), the laptop just turns the display black but doesn't go to sleep, the fans start spinning a bit louder and it just gets stuck in that process.
I hope my explanation is clear enough.
Thanks!

When in power options, check the advanced settings.
Do you have the most recent BIOS update installed? It sounds like a firmware issue.

Check the power configuration options.
Your notebook may be set to not sleep while external power is connected.
Take a read of the following article which will explain the differences in the settings

Hi, Erico, thanks for your reply. I've checked my power settings, and everything is on default e.g. when closing the lid--sleep, when pressing the power button--sleep. I don't know if there are any additional power options or something. 🤔
