Hello,
I am experiencing an issue with my HP 8079 laptop. The BIOS password has been set, and I have unfortunately forgotten it. As a result, the BIOS is now locked, and I am unable to make any changes or access the system settings.
Here are the details of my system:
- Model: HP 8079
- BIOS Version: N75 Ver. 01.38
- Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
I attempted several times to enter the password, but I did not receive any error code or indication after multiple incorrect attempts. Currently, I am unable to boot from USB or make any changes in the BIOS settings due to this lock.
Given that there are no professional services available locally, I would greatly appreciate any assistance or guidance on how to reset or bypass the BIOS password.
Please let me know if there are any steps I can follow or if there are any tools or methods provided by HP that can help resolve this issue.
Thank you for your help.
Best regards,
Muhammad Zaid Nehal
