Solved!

bios update always appearing in support assistant though bios is of latest version available.

notebook - 14am081tu
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

the bios version on notebook is F.34 and is the latest available version for this model. Still the support assistant shows bios update available. It doesn't go no matter how many times i update the bios. why is it happening?

And earlier when i tried to install the same version of bios, it used to say you are trying to install the same version (something like that) and used to skip installing it. But now no matter how many times i install, it is always doing the installation process.

HP SA is flaky like that sometimes. Can you delete the Notice? Sometimes that works/sometimes not. The last time mine was showing same updates over and over I finally uninstalled it. I did later download and install latest version.

Yes, usually it will reinstall/reflash the same version. Only time it refuses is if you are trying to use a previous version.
