I forget my EliteBook 840 G4 BIOS password, How to reset/remove the password?
You will need to contact HP.
According to another post on these forums, HP was requiring that you send in the laptop.
Try really hard to remember that password.

We can help many with password lockout-but only on consumer class laptops. The Elitebook is a business class laptop and only HP official support can help. Not sure what happened to them emailing a bin file to clear it as they have done in the past. Maybe you could call back and ask can they not send a bin file.

Yes, that is HP official support in China. That's why I'm looking for support here.
Will you please help to find the right people connect me? [edited]
Thank you very much!

About the only thing I can suggest is contacting HP via your models support page here:

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).
If you are unfamiliar with how the Forum's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.
Thank you for visiting the HP Support Forum.
