Dear HP Support Team, I am the owner of an HP EliteBook 840 G4 laptop which is currently locked with a BIOS administrator password that I no longer remember. Device details:
• Model: HP EliteBook 840 G4
• Serial Number: >Do not include the product serial number or any private information<
• SKU Number: X3V02AV
• UUID: BE411A68-18E8-5340-19FA-F5E9DDEB1566 • BIOS Version: P78 Ver. 01.48
• Issue: BIOS password forgotten – unable to access BIOS setup or update firmware. The device is out of warranty and was purchased several years ago. I kindly request assistance in generating an SMC.bin file or providing instructions to safely remove or reset the BIOS password. I confirm that I am the legitimate owner of this laptop and can provide photos of the serial number, the BIOS screen, or any other information you may need to verify ownership. Thank you for your help. Best regards,
