14-CM0012NR

Hey,

I'm looking to upgrade the hard drive to an SSD on my laptop, model 14-CM0012NR. I've done some research, but can't seem to find the correct answer. Can the hard drive be updated? From what I can tell, it might be possible with an adapter cable, but can't determine which one is needed?

Thanks for the help!!

Welcome to HP support community.

You can use a 2.5inch internal caddy for the SSD and replace it with the HDD,

Or simply add that instead you can simply SSD.

You ca refer page no.38 in this service guide for more assistance:- Click here

Le me know if that helps.

To thank me for my efforts to help you, please mark my post as an accepted solution so that it benefits several others.

Cheers.
