Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

 

If I run a SiSoftware report on this laptop it shows the following unused port:

 

System Bus 1
Type : PCIe 3.0 x4 2.5Gbps
Multiplier : 3x
Bridge : Intel Sunrise Point-LP PCI Express Root Port #1

 

Is this is connected to the PCIe NVMe slot, and if so is the BIOS/driver set up to use all 4 lanes so that you can get the maximum performance on something like the Samsung 970 EVO plus or Adata SX8200 SSDs?

That whole model series has a PCIe/NVME M.2 slot using 4 lanes so will run a Samsung 970 Evo or Evo Plus to full advantage.
