Hello I'm in the market for a fairly priced laptop and found the HP 14-cm0012nr 14" and was just asking if I could upgrade the SSD and if yes how can I?, As the 32gb storage is much too small

Hi:
Your only option with that model would be to replace the 32 GB eMMC module with the 64 GB eMMC module, and I highly doubt you would be able to obtain the part in Nigeria.
See chapter 3, page 23 of the service manual for the 64 GB eMMC part number.

The part is not orderable from HP.

You're very welcome.
The particular model you are interested in does not have a DVD drive.

In the old days, there would be a plastic blank you could remove and insert a DVD drive or caddy.
Not so on these newer PC's.
They have different case bottoms for the models that come with DVD drives, and those that don't.
I would suggest you look into a model that has conventional storage (2.5" drive or M.2 SSD) that can be easily upgraded.
I 100% agree with you that 32 GB is definitely not enough space.
I have a HP notebook with the 64 GB eMMC drive, and every couple of years or so, I have to clean install Windows because somehow files eat up the storage and I have used various methods to delete them.

No problem.
eMMC drives are kind of in the middle.
They are considerably slower than a SATA SSD, but faster than a 5,400 RPM HDD.
But you could replace the 2.5" 5,400 RPM with a 2.5" SSD, where in most notebooks you can't upgrade the eMMC drive.
I would never buy another notebook with an eMMC drive again.
