Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I understood from documents that bf125tx laptop takes only M2 2280  SATA 3 SSD, can I use 500gb or 1TB? Is there a cap?

Chapter 1 has the supported drive types, and you are correct...only SATA M.2 SSD's are supported.

 

The largest capacity SSD HP offered in the model series was 500 GB, but if you wanted to install a 1 TB M.2 SATA SSD, that would be fine.
