HP 15-ay503tx core i5 6th generation will support RAM upto 32GB?. But when i googled ; core i5 with 6th generation laprops can also upgradable RAM upto 32GB. 

 

I bought this laptop - 15-ay503tx  and made Ram upgrade upto 24gb . BIOS it is showing installed memory is 24gb.

Is this will create any problem ? Please experts need you assistence on this.

Hello ybmra,

 

Welcome to FORUM !!

 

 

Its not only processor which will support the RAM upgrade , The chipset and Mother board architecture of the PC should also contribute for the upgrade.

Your PC can only support upto 16 GB maximum. Not more than that.
