Does the M.2 port in this notebook support NVMe, or only SATA?

Hi:

 

The M.2 slot would only be SATA, not NVMe.

I did see this, but that section pertains to the drive configuration options available from HP.  It could have been made to support NVMe through a later update, it just depends, and the information isn't available anywhere in the manual.

I would be absolutely shocked if that slot supported NVMe drives.

 

If the PC supported NVMe drives, that info would have been listed in the manual.

 

If you look at chapter 1 of a typical service manual from a newer notebook that supports NVMe drives, they are so listed...
