HP Laptop PC 15-dy2000

Hello,

 

I have a new HP Laptop PC 15-dy2000. The maintenance manual says that the most RAM that this system can handle is 16gb (2 x 8gb). If I bought and installed 2 x 16gb, would it work? Is there a technical reason why it wouldn't work? I've upgraded ram in laptops many times and I never thought to check the maximum ram because that's never been an issue.

Yes, you can upgrade to 2x16GB using the following compatible RAM (or similar):
