HP Pavilion 15 Laptop PC 15-eh3000 (794P4AV)

Hi, just bought new laptop (15-eh3174nw, ProdID A01FREA#AKD) and the specification on this product says: "(1) USB 3.2 Gen 2.0 Type-C® port; SuperSpeed 10 Gbps signaling rate; left side (USB Power Delivery, DisplayPort™ 1.4, HP Sleep and Charge)". Lot of documentation says that Power Delivery is bidirectional, but nevertheless want to ask - whether it's possible to charge the laptop over this USB port? Thank you.

Hi @doka_ua

Yes, if it is compatible with Power Delivery it can. I recommend buying a USB-C charger that has the same power as the original AC charger, not doing so may result in only the laptop charging off.
