Product: OMEN 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop PC 16-c0000 (343L4AV)

I have question, Can I do in laptop by myself (without warranty void):

  • replacement of thermopaste
  • add second SSD (what type)
  • replace RAM
    ?

Warranty is a grey/gray, area very hard to say in concrete. For new generation machines, adding something or fixing something is a work for Authorized Service Provider parts . You can add yourself. If something went wrong due to this upgrade, I think HP would not honor warranty.

Is it normal that it getting hot. Sometimes it goes to 90 degrees (CPU) without any reason - just surfing internet not plaing?
