Hello !

My HP 16GB PenDrive is showing as write protected. So i have searched the internet for the solution. 

I got 2 solutions which are 1) by opening command prompt and doing the diskpart and clearing the attributes to readonly. NOTHING HAPPENED !!!!

2)  By  opening the Registry Editor in that >> Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\StorageDevicePolicies  and changing the value of hexadecimal from 1 to 0. NOTHING HAPPENED !!

Still Showing  THIS DISK IS WRITE PROTECTED.

 

Please Help me !

I suggest you contact HP Support for replacement PenDrive

 

Please write an email to hpsupport@pny.com for any assistance with the PenDrive
