Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello!
A few weeks ago, I had a BSOD screen, and after restart my system refuses to see 8 out of 16gb of my RAM memory.
I have 16gb (2x8gb strips) on board right now. I've tried to open cover of my laptop and replace RAM strips, clean them etc.
Bios is observing 8g as well.

It seems pretty much like a hardware problem, but somehow tools like cpu-z and aida64 could see both ram strips:

I guess I should go to the repair service center, but it is pretty expensive, and I decided to ask you guys first.
May be you could give me some advice.

Welcome to HP Support Community

I understand your concerns and frustrations

This is likely to be a RAM issue. I suggest you try one RAM at a time in each slot and check whether one of the RAMs are faulty or if it's the Slot

You can also contact HP Support in your region for service options
