17z top left corner hinge separating

17z
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Hello,  I purchased a 17z laptop directly from HP and the top left corner of my computer near the screen hinge separates everytime I close the computer.  I am afraid that it is going to crack the case as it separates approximately 1/4" and has to be pushed back together each time it is closed.  I understand from other posts that there seems to be a problem with this style of construction.  Who do I contact for assistance at HP?  Thank you,  John

@johny125

I reviewed your post and I understand that the screen is separating near the left hinge.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

I recommend you contact support and they will assist you in this regard.

Here is how you can get in touch with support.

2)Select the product type.

3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.

4)Select the country from the drop-down.

5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.
