I recently got a 2024 Spectre X360 14. Fan noise has been quite considerable - the fan is always on and will speed up massively even under minimal load (browsing the web, working in M365 etc.).
I previously had a 2023 Spectre X360 16, that I sold for the new 14. There I was able to set thermal profiles / fan profiles in HP Command Center. Unfortunately, that option isn't there anymore - functionality in HP command center is restricted to Glamcam and network boost.
Does anyone know how I can get the thermal profiles back into HPCC?

Unfortunately, you won't be able to get thermal profiles back as a feature in the version of HP Command Center that is for your new laptop.
The Network Booster and GlamCam features are all that is available.
I suggest going to Settings->Power Options and selecting balanced instead of performance.
You might also check in the BIOS configuration settings to ensure that the Always on feature for the fan is not enabled.
