HP Pavilion 15-cs0053cl
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

my computer recently gave me a SMART hard disk error, and after running diagnostics, I was presented with a 24 digit error code. I can’t seem to reach HP, so I was wondering if any of you could help me.

Error code: PG8A3F-97QA8U-MFPW3G-60RL03

Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you

Yes. I would replace it.

The Windows 10 activation license is attached to the notebook on the Microsoft licensing servers and is in the notebook's BIOS.

That means that recovering the notebook after the new hard disk is installed should be seamless.

That has been my own experience.  Use the HP Cloud recovery usb flash drive to reinstall Windows 10.

The error code translates to a 303 failure code.

Hard Disk 1 Quick Test Failure

That means you should back up your data ASAP because a failure of the hard disk is imminent.

Thank you, should I replace the hard disk?
