Product: Example: Pavilion 15-ay198nr
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
My laptop is a 15-ay198nr. I want to replace my battery (part number: HS03031-CL). The specifications for the battery say that it is a 3-cell 11.1V battery, and the HP battery check confirms that. However, when I search for the HS03031-CL battery, they all say they are 4-cell 14.8V batteries. Does this mean that the 15-ay198nr laptop will accept my choice of either a 3-cell 11.1V battery or a 4-cell 14.8V battery without causing damage to the laptop?
