Microsoft Windows 11

Hi everyone! I have a HP Product number: 4N6R5UA#ABA 360 Notebook and there is conflicting information online about whether the 8 gb of total RAM can be upgraded. It says a max of 32 but others say it is integrated. Can someone help me get to the bottom of this??

Thank you!

Hi:

The parts list for your notebook shows a 4 GB memory chip part number, so the memory can be upgraded.

HP PartSurfer

L83673-005
SODIMM 4GB DDR4-3200 1.2v

The Ryzen5 5500U processor should be able to support 2 x 16 GB of DDR4-3200 CL22 memory.

Below is the link to the service manual:

Chapter 1 indicates the memory is upgradable.

Maintenance and Service Guide

Chapter 5 has the memory removal and replacement procedure.

Looks like the memory chips are underneath a metal shield (chapter 5, pp 37 - 38).
