i have a HP Notebook i got from Tesco and its great but i teach IT & travel to Germany a couple times a year so i want a CD/DVD drive so i am getting a another laptop. i don't have time to try and get a CD to Google Drive then go on laptop to get CD info only for it not to work esp when i have the CDs i need in my hand! i don't want an external CD drive its only more weight to carry.
i got mine for a great price but the RAM is 500GB and i am only using about 66.
My questin is will 32GB work? i use the laptop for lesson plans & creating software instructions in Word using Office 365 thats it really.
thank you
Kim 🙂

Hi
If you are currently using 66 Gb then I suggest a 64 Gb minimum.
And the item may have to store data in the cloud, so be wary abou buying a PC that needs upto 18 gb for OS and updates and restore points etc.
Leaves you 32 gb + 2 Gb swap file for all your stuff.
A USB stick of 128 Gb would seem like a potential solution, encrypted of course.
