HP Notebook - 15-ba009dx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Trying to replace old battery on an HP 15-ba009dx laptop. Replacement battery is 807956-001, all is see are 14.8 volt. The original battery is 10.95 volt. The part on the HP website does not give a voltage. I read on some sites that the 14.8 would not work and should not be used to replace the 10.95. I actually got a 14.8 and it did not work. A couple of questions. 1) What is the voltage of the HP part on website? 2) Will a 14.8 volt work to replace the 10.95 volt battery?

Hello @ErnieSi

Sorry to hear that you are having problems ... I would like to help you.

You cannot use 14.8V, it will damage your notebook !

Use HP spare part number:

807956-001

3-cell, 31-Whr, 2.8-Ah Li-ion battery 10.95V

In which country do you live ? It is about an order possibility.

Kind regards
