My notebook was plugged in but not charging. I took the battery off and tried turning the notebook on but it didn't turn on so as per written on the hp support site, there was no problem with the battery. I ran the AC Adapter test and the adapter failed the test. The Failure ID is 6FWE00-93KA8E-XD7UQK-C1EE03.
